Joint Venture taps David Witkowski as Director of its Wireless Communications Initiative
September 15, 2015 – Joint Venture Silicon Valley has appointed longtime wireless industry executive David Witkowski to lead the organization’s Wireless Communications Initiative (WCI).
The WCI brings together the wireless industry, local governments, businesses and residents to improve the wireless and broadband infrastructure in Silicon Valley and to keep the region a center of wireless leadership and innovation.
Witkowski is the Founder and Chief Solutions Architect of Oku Solutions and the current president of the Wireless Communications Alliance. He succeeds Natasha Ernst, who led the WCI for two years and has moved on to a new position.
Witkowski serves as an adviser to the Carnegie Institute of Technology Dean's Council, as a member of the UC Davis Industrial Affiliates Council and the CTIA Innovation Council, and is a senior member of the both the IEEE and the Radio Club of America. David earned his BSEE from University of California at Davis.
