Ashley Raggio
Chief Operating Officer
Ashley Raggio is the Chief Operating Officer at Joint Venture. Prior to that she served as director of Joint Venture’s Lighthouse initiative (formerly Building Back Better) focused on regional recovery. Formerly the executive director of Joint Venture’s Silicon Valley Talent Partnership, Ashley transitioned in response to the pandemic crisis to develop a new effort that also works across economic sectors with leaders and the community to provide coordination, research, backbone infrastructure, and a framework to connect stakeholders for regional recovery.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Ashley completed her B.S. at the University of Oregon and worked in corporate recruiting until she earned her masters in higher education leadership from San Jose State University. She joined the University staff to facilitate service-learning experiences in the classroom, campus leadership development programs, and the coordination of AmeriCorps students in service. Following her time in higher education, Ashley coordinated a volunteer program at Silicon Valley FACES. Service has always been a common thread throughout Ashley’s life. She has held multiple volunteer leadership roles and volunteers often with her family. Her value of service and community engagement inspired Ashley to start a division of the nonprofit Doing Good Together™ in Silicon Valley to encourage more families to raise children who care and give back.
Ashley is passionate about engaging people with projects that bring about change. Her experience collaborating with corporate, nonprofit, academia, and the public sector gives her the skills to be effective in creating partnerships across sectors that deliver impact. Ashley’s strength is managing and delivering effective and collaborative programs that add value to the community.
