Joint Venture launched the first-annual Silicon Valley Poll on October 12, 2021 with a virtual briefing hosted by Russell Hancock, CEO of Joint Venture and President of the Institute for Regional Studies. The Poll is an extensive public-opinion survey carried out in partnership with the Bay Area News Group and is available to download in PDF format. A video recording of the briefing is also available to view. Follow the national news coverage on the Poll

The Poll, placed in the field by Joint Venture’s Institute for Regional Studies and Change Research Inc., is a complement to the Silicon Valley Index and will be conducted annually. “The Index reports the facts, while the Poll will tell us how people are feeling about things,” explained Joint Venture CEO, Russell Hancock.
