What is the Silicon Valley Poll Briefing?

The Silicon Valley Poll is an extensive public opinion survey placed in the field annually by Joint Venture’s Institute for Regional Studies. The Poll is carried out in partnership with Bay Area News Group. One of the Valley’s most closely watched surveys, the Poll tracks how residents feel about the region and its challenges; it also probes people’s opinions about current issues and events.

Members of the community and leaders of the major sectors gather every Fall for a detailed briefing on the Poll results.

The 2026 Poll Briefing is made possible due to generous support from Stanford Office of Government Affairs, Applied Materials, and Kaiser Permanente.

About Joint Venture
