Meet the Joint Venture Team
Heidi Rodeback
Grant Writer
Heidi Rodeback is a grant writer for Joint Venture. She joined the staff in 2021 after twenty years in local government. A skilled communicator, organizer, and consensus builder, she served two terms as a city council member in American Fork, Utah—historically a pioneer town but now a tech hub positioned strategically on the I-15 corridor south of Salt Lake City. She was twice recognized as a council member, first as the Utah State Citizen Forester of the Year, then with a legislative award from Local First Utah for her advocacy of local business.
Heidi continues to volunteer in the community, maintaining a focus on quality-of-life issues. Her resume includes chairmanship of American Fork’s Neighbors in Action Committee and the American Fork Library Board of Trustees, as well as founding roles in the Greenwood Neighbors Initiative and the Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra.
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Heidi holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian Literature from Brigham Young University in Provo. In private life, she reads insatiably, freelances as a collaborative pianist, and lives with her family in American Fork.
