Closing Gaps for the Bay Area Workforce

As part of Joint Venture’s mission to tackle regional issues, the organization co-sponsored the Manzanita Works webinar, an online series devoted to closing gaps for the Bay Area workforce." The series examines some of the toughest issues such as education, housing, and transportation. 

Manzanita Works evolved from Manzanita Talks, convened by Joint Venture in partnership with the Bay Area Council to explore the logic and desirability of cross-sector collaboration to address regional traffic mitigation.

Session Three includes:

Education Panel A: To Be "Well Educated" with Dr. Devin Horton of U.C. Davis, Gloria Lee of Educate 78, Joshua Paley of Palo Alto Unified School District, and Pcyeta Stroud of the Bay Area Entrepreneur Center at Skyline College, moderated by educator and former school board trustee, Barbara Sih Klausner.
