Joint Venture board adds Google, Silicon Valley Bank executives

headshot headshotNovember 18, 2016 – The Joint Venture board of directors today elected Google government affairs and public policy manager Javier Gonzalez and Silicon Valley Bank’s head of corporate social affairs Craig Robinson as its newest members.

Gonzalez has a broad range of experience in government and legislative advocacy in the Bay Area, Silicon Valley and Sacramento. He previously served on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights California State Advisory Committee. He attended Santa Clara University.

Robinson has been with SVB eight years, previously serving as Head of Enterprise Risk Management and CRA Officer. He held earlier roles with Greater Bay Bank, Eureka Bank and Bank of America, and with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in San Francisco. He is a graduate of San Jose State University.
