September 28, 2026 — Joint Venture Silicon Valley has appointed two new members to its board of directors, coming from the finance and healthcare sectors and strengthening its focus on cross-sector engagement.
Varun Gupta, Market Executive for Wells Fargo, brings 20 years of corporate finance experience working in fintech and with clients across industries and geographies. In his current role at Wells Fargo, he leads the Bay Area commercial banking team, helping small and midsize businesses grow.
Jennifer Ellman serves as Vice President, Chief Clinical Facilities Planner, for Sutter Health's Greater Silicon Valley Division. A registered nurse and experienced healthcare executive, she currently leads planning efforts for Sutter Health's future hospital campus in Santa Clara. Her experience spans both public and private healthcare systems, providing a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing healthcare organizations and the communities they serve.
